GHS Symbols and Labelling

The globally harmonised system of classification and labelling of chemicals.


This GHS deals with the classification of chemicals by types of hazard and provides harmonized elements that communicate these hazards, including labels and safety data sheets.

New GHS pictograms are replacing the traditional orange symbols.  You may have already seen these on chemical pacakaging.
